How to check your WAEC (WASSCE) result online

Go to waecdirect.org, enter your 10-digit examination number, year and type, then the serial number and PIN from your result checker card.

1. Get a WAEC result checker. You need a serial number and PIN. Buy them only from WAEC's official channels or an authorised dealer, never from strangers on social media.

2. Go to waecdirect.org, WAEC's official result-checking site.

3. Enter your 10-digit examination number. It is your 7-digit centre number followed by your 3-digit candidate number.

4. Choose the examination year and the examination type. School candidates choose the school candidate option; private (GCE) candidates choose the private option.

5. Enter the serial number and PIN from your card, then submit. Your result appears on screen; save or print it.

Good to know: one checker can only be used for one candidate's examination number. If your result shows as withheld or incomplete, contact WAEC through your school or the official WAEC office, not a middleman.

What next? If you are heading for JAMB and Post-UTME, check which O'Level grades your course needs on AdmitMe, and keep a printed copy of your result ready for screening.
