This page explains when AdmitMe gives money back and how to ask. It is part of our terms of use.
1. How payments work
- Every payment is a single, one-off payment through Paystack (card, bank transfer or USSD) or a bank transfer confirmed by our team. AdmitMe never sees your card details.
- Nothing renews automatically. We never charge you again unless you choose to pay again.
- Each payment has a reference (it starts with
AM-). Your payments and their status are listed on your Premium page.
2. When we refund in full
- You were charged twice for the same thing. The extra payment is refunded.
- You paid and did not get what you paid for, and we cannot fix it. For example, Premium never activated on your account, or a paid service was not delivered.
- A fault on our side stopped you from using what you paid for, and we could not put it right in reasonable time.
- A paid service has not started. You can cancel a service request yourself until work begins; if you already paid the quote, ask support for the refund.
- A file you bought is wrong or broken. We replace it first; if we cannot, we refund it.
3. Other requests
Other refund requests, for example if you changed your mind about Premium after using it, are considered case by case. We look at when you paid and how much of the service you used. We tell you the decision and the reason.
4. How to ask
- Send a support request with the topic Payment or Premium, the payment reference and what went wrong. Use the email on your AdmitMe account.
- We reply in the request thread. If more information is needed we will ask there.
- Never share your card PIN, OTP or password with anyone, including people claiming to be AdmitMe staff.
5. What happens after a refund
- The refund goes back through Paystack to the card or account you paid from, or by bank transfer if you paid by transfer. How long it takes to reach you depends on your bank.
- A refund ends the Premium period or the service it paid for.
- If someone referred you, the referral earning from that payment is cancelled.
6. Chargebacks
If you dispute a payment with your bank instead of contacting us and the payment is reversed, the Premium or service it paid for ends, as with a refund. Talking to us first is usually faster.
