How to check your JAMB UTME result (and print your result slip)

Check your UTME score by SMS from the phone number you registered with, then print the official slip on JAMB's e-Facility portal once printing opens.

1. Use the phone number you registered with. JAMB only returns your result to the SIM you used at registration; any other number gets nothing back.

2. Send UTMERESULT by SMS to 55019 or 66019. For the 2026 UTME this was the keyword reported by several outlets and used by candidates. Keep a little airtime on the line, because the SMS is charged.

3. Read the reply. It shows your name, your score in each of your four subjects (each out of 100) and your total out of 400.

4. Print the official result slip on JAMB's e-Facility portal (efacility.jamb.gov.ng) once JAMB switches printing on. Schools and admission screenings ask for the printed slip, not the SMS. There is a fee for the slip, so check the current amount on the portal.

Forgot your registration number? Text RETRIEVE to 55019 from the same registered number.

Stay safe: use only jamb.gov.ng and efacility.jamb.gov.ng. JAMB does not sell result upgrades, and anyone offering to 'change' a score is a scammer.

What next? Your UTME score is only one part of admission. Check your course's requirements and your university's screening on AdmitMe, and practise for Post-UTME while you wait.
